Merit is built around personal attention — individually tailored learning plans, classes capped at 5 students, and maximised support through Merit’s custom-built learning platform.
Tell us your child’s year level, subject focus, and current confidence. We’ll put together a recommended learning plan so their very first class is pitched exactly where they are.
Answer a few quick questions so we can place your child in the right small-group class (max 5 students) — you’ll also get their personalised learning plan when you book.
You pay a simple per-class rate — $35 per class for Years 1–6 and $39 per class for Years 7–10 — billed fortnightly. Your child can take more than one class a week if you’d like (for example, both English and Maths), so the fortnightly total depends on how many classes they attend. No sign-up fees, no lock-in contracts, and you can stop whenever you like.
Every class is a live 60-minute session with an expert tutor in a small group of no more than 5 students, plus self-paced practice on Merit’s learning platform — where points and levels track real progress and keep your child motivated between classes — and a parent progress dashboard. All content is aligned to the Australian Curriculum for Years 1–10.
Yes — your child’s first class is completely free, with no credit card required and no commitment. It’s a real 60-minute class in a small group, so you can see exactly how Merit works before deciding anything.
None. There’s no lock-in and no minimum term — you can pause or cancel at any time. Just let us know and we’ll take care of it. Families stay because it’s working, not because they’re tied in.
